It is undisputed that pilots have an amazing view from their office! They also get to experience all sorts of climates, from deserts and tropical rainforests to grasslands and arctic regions and they see the weather from above. In the run up to World Meteorological Day 23rd
March we are looking at just how reliant pilots are on the weather
As part of this we are asking pilots to send us their pictures of ‘Weather from above’. We will collate the photos and put the best of them online on BALPA’s social media streams. We will pick the best photo and the sender will win a £50 Amazon voucher
Please ensure photos taken are done so safely and legally at a non-critical phase of flight and that you have checked your company regulations on in-flight photography. Each airline comes with its own rules about taking photos or videos in the cockpit – so, if you’re unsure, check with your employer.
Please submit your photos to Communications@balpa.org
We will announce the winner next week.
